Made of Pies

I’m setting up a new fish tank soon and as much as I would love for it to look something like this, I know it won’t be quite as cool. It will also take several months before it looks like anything other than a tub of sand with a few scraggly plants.

An aquarium hobby can be pretty expensive - thank fuck for other hobbyists and buying used items. I’ve ordered another 50 Red Cherry shrimp today from a hobbyist (for myself and my boyfriend) to supplement the 50ish I already have. (the ish comes from never being too sure how many there actually are in my tank, these guys like to HIDE) I’m getting the shrimp for 25 euros, when they normally cost 3-5 euros each in shops.
